This surah was revealed in madina.After migration to madina muslims becomes a community and requires rules and regulation regarding day to day life.This surah is on social life and instructions to describe the unit of society and development based on righteousness and morality.It gave detail instructions on the punishment of zana ,accusing spouse, false witness, Rumors, lian, slanders.It gave us instructions on “Parda”.Those who were weak in faith slanders and conspiracies to defame Holy Prophet(PBUH) regarding his marriage with zainab bint jahsh and in later cases in Surah Nur its regarding Aisha,prophet’s wife.
